Melih Mahmutoğlu (born May 12, 1990) is a Turkish professional basketball player who currently plays for Fenerbahçe Ülker[1] of the Turkish Basketball League. He plays the shooting guard position.

Pro career

He started to play basketball with Genç Boğaziçispor. He trasferred to Efes Pilsen in 1999. He grew up with the Efes Pilsen juniors. He made his professional debut in the T2BL with Pertevniyal during the 2006-07 season. He signed a contract with Darüşşafaka Cooper Tires in 2008. He won the championship with the Darüşşafaka in the T2BL. He signed a contract with Galatasaray Medical Park. He loaned to Antalya BB for the 2011-12 season. In the summer of 2012, He moved the Erdemirspor. In the August of 2013, he signed a contract with Fenerbahçe Ülker.[2]

Turkish national team

He played at the 2006 European U-16 Championship, at the 2007 and 2008 European U-18 Championships, at the 2009 and 2010 European U-20 Championships. He also played for Turkish national team and won the gold medal at the 2013 Mediterranean Games.
