Melbourne Fashion Festival

Melbourne, the capital city of the Australian state of Victoria, is renowned for its fashion scene and is sometimes considered Australia's fashion capital rivalling and disputing Sydney. Melbourne is the home and birthplace of many Australian styles, designers and fashion houses. The city is also home to an array of international designer boutiques and stores, as well as many thrift stores and independent labels. The Melbourne Fashion Festival is a showcase of Melbourne's latest designs and is held by L'Oreal. It is generally held in mid-late March each year over the course of several days. Part of the festival is held at the Melbourne Docklands.
