Melaleuca squarrosa, the Scented Paperbark, is a plant native to south-eastern Australia. It is a summer-flowering shrub growing to about 5 m in height, occasionally a small tree up to 12 m, with papery bark.
Distribution
The Scented Paperbark is found in heath and in dry sclerophyll forest in damp, often waterlogged, places; in coastal districts and their adjacent ranges, from Sydney southwards to Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.[2][3]
