Meilan (simplified Chinese: 美兰区; traditional Chinese: 美蘭區; pinyin: Měilán Qū) is a county-level district under the jurisdiction of Haikou city, in Hainan, a province of the People's Republic of China. The district's total area is 553 square kilometers, and its population was 510,000 people in 2002.
Administrative regions
Meilan district has jurisdiction over Haifu Road, Boai Road, Haidian Road, Renminlu Road, Bailong Road, Hepingnan Road, and Baisha Road. It also contains the small towns of Xinbu, Lingshan, Yanfeng, Shanjiang, and Dazhipo.
