Mehreen Mahmud (Bengali: মেহরীন মাহমুদ) mostly known by her stage name Mehreen, is a Bangladeshi singer.

Career

Mehreen was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She sings Bangla fusion.[citation needed]

Mehreen began her career in 1994, and her debut album Anari was released in 2000. She is judge for the Bangladeshi Idol season 1, currently running.

In 2008 she was a judge on band hunt reality show "The Band Wagon".

She released a song about cricket Bangladesh National Cricket Team during ICC cricket titled Cup Kintu Ektai.

She is an MA (hons.) in English Literature from the University of Dhaka.

Concerts

Mehreen performed on 6th Citycell Channel I Music Award at Lalbagh Fort on December 3, 2010 along with many other Bangladeshi artists.[2]
