Megantara Air was an Indonesian cargo airline based at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.[1] Operations started in May 2007, the airline operated freight charters and regular flights between Indonesia and Singapore.[1]
As of May 2009, the airline has decided to suspend all its operations.[2] All of their aircraft later returned to Transmile Air Services of Malaysia. Megantara Air is listed in category 2 by Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority for airline safety quality.[3]
Fleet
The Megantara Air fleet (as of March 2009) was:[1]
- 1 × Boeing 727-200F (PK-TMA;ex 9M-TGE)
- 1 × Boeing 737-200F (PK-TME;ex 9M-PMW)
(All of their aircraft were transferred from Transmile fleet at the moment of the formation)
