Mednafen is an OpenGL and SDL multi-system free software emulator, driven from the command-line.[2] It is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.[3]
Mednafen is an acronym for "My Emulator Doesn't Need A Frickin' Excellent Name"[4] and was before known as Nintencer.
Host systems
The emulator runs under Microsoft Windows,[5] Linux,[5] PlayStation 3,[6][7] and RISC OS.[8] A port for Wii is currently in the works.[9]
