Medical Springs, Oregon

Medical Springs is an unincorporated community in Union County, Oregon, United States. It is located near the southern extremity of Union County on Oregon Route 203, just outside Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. It is twenty miles southeast of Union and twenty-four miles northeast of Baker City.[1]

Medical Springs is located at 45°01′01″N 117°37′44″W / 45.017°N 117.629°W / 45.017; -117.629Coordinates: 45°01′01″N 117°37′44″W / 45.017°N 117.629°W / 45.017; -117.629 and has an elevation of 3396 feet (1035 meters).[2]

Medical Springs was homesteaded in the nineteenth century by Dunham and Artemisia Wright.[1]
