Media of Ukraine

The Media of Ukraine consist of several different types of communications media including television, radio, cinema, newspapers, magazines, and the Internet. Many of the media are controlled by large for-profit corporations who receive revenue from advertising, subscriptions, and sale of copyrighted material.

As of late 2010s there have been significant concerns over the corrupting influence of certain political figures, connected to the government of Viktor Yanukovych on Ukrainian media.[1]
