Meck (musician)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Meck is the DJ and recording alias of Craig Dimech, the former head of free2air recordings and now Frenetic Music. Having started his A&R career at Ministry Of Sound imprint Incentive Music, he has been responsible or had a hand in many Top 10 and Top 20 UK hits. [citation needed]
Known initially for the re-working of Leo Sayer's "Thunder In My Heart Again" which became a UK #1 in February 2006, he has gone on to forge a partnership with Italian vocalist, producer and DJ Dino Lenny and scored a UK Top 40 hit with their collaboration "Feels Like Home" - which is now part of a mashup with "Like A Prayer" and was performed live by Madonna as part of her Sticky & Sweet Tour in 2008 and 2009.
