Mbarali District

Mbarali District is one of the eight districts of the Mbeya Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the North and East by the Iringa Region, to the South by the Mbeya Rural District and to the West by the Chunya District.
According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Chunya District was 234,908.[1] Before the expansion of the Ruaha National Park in 2008, Mbarali District covered an area of 15,560 square kilometres (6,008 sq mi).[2]
The District Commissioner of the Mbarali District is Gilbert Dololo.[3]
