The Mazda Biante (a car name is coined word from Ambient) is an 8-seater large MPV introduced for Japanese market, in 2008 by Mazda.

It is available with 2.0 litre or 2.3 litre petrol engines in two trim levels - CS or S. It is available with front wheel drive mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox, or with four wheel drive mated to a four-speed automatic gearbox. The cheapest model (20CS) is available for ¥2,199,000; the most expensive model (20S 4WD) is available for ¥2,669,000. It fits between the Premacy and MPV in Mazda's range. The Biante is aimed at young couples with small children. Mazda designed the Biante with style in mind unlike most other MPVs. Biante also sold for Indonesian market, Indonesia is the first country outside Japan that sold the Biante Minivans.
