Mayteana Morales is an American Actress and stage performer. Born October 30, 1981, she is best known for her role as Gabriela "Gaby" Fernández on the PBS kids's show, Ghostwriter. She was raised in Hempstead, New York. Growing up, she took ballet and jazz every Saturday.[1] Currently she is involved with the theatre, and graduated from New York University in 2003 with a major in drama. According to her MySpace profile, she was part of the singing group, known as 7 & Counting and is now part of the funk group "The Pimps of Joytime".[2] Mayteana showed off her rapping and singing skills on "Ghostwriter".
