Maximilian Beister (born 6 September 1990) is a German footballer who plays as a Forward for Hamburger SV.
Career
Beister began his career 2001 with VfL Lüneburg. In 2004, he joined the Hamburger SV youth academy.[2] In the season 2008–09, he made his debut in the reserve team of HSV on 21 August 2008 against 1. FC Magdeburg.[3] Beister made his Bundesliga debut on 22 November 2009 against VfL Bochum.[4] On 26 May 2010, Beister left the club and joined Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan.[5]
International career
He made his international debut for the Germany national Under-19 football team on 11 February 2009 in a friendly against Greece national under-19 football team and earned between November 2009 five caps. On 9 October 2009 made his debut for the Germany national under-20 football team against Switzerland national under-20 football team.[6]
