Maxime Agueh (born April 1, 1978 in Lille[1]) is a French-Beninese football player who, is playing for FC Gueugnon.

Career

Agueh began his career with Lille and signed on July 1, 1998 for Luton Town F.C.. He played one year with Luton Town F.C. and signed than in July 1999 to Jupiler League club FC Denderleeuw EH. After two years with FC Denderleeuw EH in the Jupiler League, joined back to France, who signed with Saint-Marcellin in summer 2001. Agueh played one season here and signed with Championnat National club ASOA Valence. After three years with Valence, signed 2005 for Acharnaikos F.C.. In Greece played eight games in the Gamma Ethniki and signed in July 2006 with RFC Tournai for his second time in Belgium. He played eleven games for RFC Tournai in the Jupiler League in the 2006/2007 season, after the end of the season signed on 1 July 2007 with Ligue 2 club FC Gueugnon.[2]

International career

He was part of the Beninese 2004 African Nations Cup team, who finished bottom of their group in the first round of competition, thus failing to qualify for the next round.[3] Agueh played his first game in 2003 against Nigeria national football team.[4]
