Career

Nazarova / Nikitin debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series in 2010, finishing 7th and 11th in their two events. They were coached by Galina Churilova in their hometown, Kharkiv.[2]

In 2011–12, Nazarova / Nikitin made no appearances on the JGP series but were sent to the 2012 Youth Olympics where they won the silver medal behind Russia's Anna Yanovskaya / Sergey Mozgov.

In 2012–13, the duo placed 5th in both of their JGP events. They were 11th at their first World Junior Championships.

Prior to the 2013–14 season, Nazarova / Nikitin moved to Moscow, Russia to be coached by Alexander Zhulin and Oleg Volkov.[3] They won their first-ever JGP medal, silver, at the 2013 JGP in Gdansk, Poland. They won another silver at the 2013 JGP Estonia, thus qualifying for their first JGP Final in Fukuoka, Japan. They finished 5th at the JGP Final.
