Max Garland

Max Garland is a poet and professor of English literature. He currently serves as Wisconsin's poet laureate.[1] Garland's work has appeared in several publications including Poetry, New England Review, Georgia Review, Ploughshares, Crazy Horse, Chicago Review, Gettysburg Review, Prairie Schooner and Poet and Critic. He has won several awards including a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship and a Bush Artist Fellowship. He teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.[2]
