Trentham Mausoleum

The Trentham Mausoleum is a mausoleum in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, built as the final resting place of the Dukes of Sutherland.

It is situated opposite the main gates of Trentham Gardens and was built c.1808 by architect Charles Heathcote Tatham for the George Leveson-Gower, the 2nd Marquess of Stafford and later Duke of Sutherland. Constructed in stone in a neo-Egyptian style, it is the only Grade I listed building in Stoke.
