Matthew Goodwin

Matthew Goodwin is a British academic. Goodwin is a former Research Fellow at the Institute for Political and Economic Governance (IPEG) at the University of Manchester, and currently an Associate Professor in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham and an Associate Fellow at Chatham House. His research focuses on far-right extremist groups.[1]

From September 2010 Goodwin began lecturing at the University of Nottingham.[2] He is the co-editor of The New Extremism in 21st Century Britain (Routledge).[3] He is also the author of New British Fascism: Rise of the British National Party (Routledge).[4] His research has appeared in the New Statesman,[5] The Guardian,[6] Westminster Hour[7] and Prospect magazine.[8]
