Matheus Simonete Bressaneli (born 15 January 1993), most known as Bressan, is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays for Grêmio, as a central defender.

Club career

Born in Caxias do Sul, Bressan began his career on Esporte Clube Juventude. He made his professional debut on 21 March 2010, against Esporte Clube Novo Hamburgo.[1] In April 2012, he went on a trial at Lille OSC,[2] but nothing came of it.

In December, Bressan was transferred to Grêmio FBPA, after a partnership was established with Juventude.[3] He made his Grêmio debut on 3 February 2013, against SC Internacional.[4]

On 26 May, Bressan made his Série A debut, starting in a 2–0 home win against Náutico.[5]
