Marvel Universe: LIVE!

Marvel Universe: LIVE! is an upcoming theatrical arena show based off characters originated from Marvel Comics properties. Utilizing martial arts, acrobatics, pyrotechnics, aerial stunts, and special effects, the show will feature iconic heroes such as Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Avengers facing off against well-known villains like Loki and the Sinister Six.

Production

The show is being produced by Feld Entertainment and directed by Shawna Sanders, with a script written by Adam Wilson and Melanie Wilson LaBracio. Additionally, Thor and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stunt coordinator Andy Armstrong has been tapped to oversee the action sequences and fight scenes. Costume designs were provided by Cynthia Nordstrom, known for her work on Disney on Ice and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.^[4] The production's tone and design are heavily influenced by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The show is set to tour 85 cities, with the first show beginning July 2014.
