Martin Hinteregger (born 7 September 1992) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays for FC Red Bull Salzburg as defender.[1][2]
Career
Hinteregger started playing football with his local team SGA Sirnitz in 1999. He came to FC Red Bull Salzburg and played in the U19 team and later for the Red Bull Juniors, the second team of Salzburg. On October 16th, 2010 he played his first match in the first team and 5 days later he played his first international match for FC Red Bull Salzburg versus Juventus. Since the 2013/14 season he plays regularly in the starting team of Salzburg. [3]
International career
After being capped at various youth levels for Austria, Hinteregger made his debut for the Austria senior team in a 1-0 friendly win over USA on 19 November 2013.[4]
