Marta Litinskaya-Shul

Marta Litynska (born 25 March 1949, Lviv) is a Ukrainian chess master.
Born Marta Shul, she was Soviet Women’s Champion in 1972, and Sub-Champion in 1971, 1973, and 1974. She played in 2nd Interzonal Tournament at Menorca 1973 where tied for 2nd–5th places. In 1974, she lost a semifinal match to Nana Alexandria in Riga.
Litinskaya won World Senior Chess Championship at Naumburg 2002.[1]
Awarded the Woman International Master (WIM) title in 1972 and the Woman Grandmaster (WGM) title in 1976.
On the April 2009 FIDE list her Elo rating is 2326.
