Marlène Jobert (born 4 November 1940) is a French actress, singer and author.
Biography
Jobert was born in Algiers, French Algeria, the daughter of Andrée Azoulay and M. Jobert, in the French Air Force. She is from a Pied-Noir background and is Jewish.[1][2][3] She came to Metropolitan France when aged eight. Besides acting, she has been the author and/or narrator of (mainly children's) audio books. She also has written a series of books which cautiously lead on to the appreciation of classical music, e.g. of Mozart, Chopin, and Tchaikovsky.
Jobert and spouse Swedish dentist Walter Green have twin daughters: Eva Green is also an actress; Joy Green is in business school.
