Marko Elsner (born 11 April 1960 in Ljubljana) is a retired Slovenian footballer who played in the defender position. His late father Branko Elsner was a former coach and sons Luka and Rok are also footballers.

International career

He played his first match for Slovenia, against Cyprus on 18 November 1992. His last match was against Estonia, a friendly on 7 April 1993.

Coaching career

As in August 2008, he was the coach of Cambodia. He would improve the formation of the team, technique, and the strategy that they use. He wanted the Cambodia team to qualify for the 2008 AFF Suzuki Cup.
