Markapumaqucha (Quechua marka village, puma cougar, puma, qucha lake,[1] hispanicized spellings Marcapomacocha, Marcapumacocha) is a lake in Peru. It is located in the Junín Region, Yauli Province, Marcapomacocha District. Markapumaqucha lies south of the lake Markaqucha and east of the lake Antaquta (Quriway). It is situated at a height of about 4,420 metres (14,501 ft), about 3.67 km long and 1.95 km at its widest point.
