Mark Schulman (born September 4, 1961, in Los Angeles, California), is an American LA-based musician, best known as having been drummer for Foreigner, Billy Idol, and Pink (singer). Displaying a fascination with music since age 3 where he first saw with the Beatles [1] on the Ed Sullivan Show, in 2014 Mark continues his devotion to music as P!ink's touring drummer as well as a well-received drum clinician and a motivational speaker on such topics as overcoming stage fright. His earliest influences include Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden with Nicko McBrain as an inspiration drummer, Kiss, Aerosmith, AC/DC, and Van Halen.

Childhood and education

Mark Schulman was born in Los Angeles in 1961. The son of two college English professors and the younger brother of a gifted musician, entrepreneur and coder, like his older brother who plays violin, Schulman is a classically trained cellist who and as a teen, played with the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic and has played the cello live on stage at rock concerts.[2]
