Mark Schlichting

Mark Schlichting was the Creative Director for Living Books for Broderbund Software in Novato, California where he conceived the Living Books line of interactive animated CD-ROM products.[1] Mr. Schlichting was the Design and Art Director for CD-ROM titles such as "Just Grandma and Me" with Mercer Mayer, "Arthur's Teacher Trouble" with Marc Brown, and "The New Kid on the Block" with Jack Prelutsky. He is the writer of Harry D. Rabbit in the 1987 book called "Harry and the Haunted House" and also the version of Aesop's Fable "The Tortoise and the Hare."
