Mark McNeill (born February 22, 1993) a Canadian ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League as a prospect for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League. He was selected 18th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, and he was also selected by Vityaz Chekhov in the 5th round (112th overall) of the 2011 KHL Junior Draft.[1]

Early life

He was born in Langley, British Columbia, and raised in Edmonton, Alberta.[citation needed] McNeill played with major junior hockey with the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL.
