Mark Lovat

Mark Lovat is the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator of the Green Bay Packers.

Biography

Lovat was born in Pocatello, Idaho. He is the son of former Packers assistant coach and Utah Utes head coach Tom Lovat.[1] Lovat graduated from Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana where he was a member of a state champion football team and captain of a state champion baseball team. He received a baseball scholarship from Butler University where he graduated cum laude with high honors with a B.A. in Spanish and International Studies. Later he also graduated from the California University of Pennsylvania.

Career

Lovat joined the Packers in 1999. He became Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2006 before being named Coordinator in 2010.[2]
