Mark James Cusack is the State Representative of Massachusetts from the 5th Norfolk District. He previously served as the Assistant to Braintree Mayor Joe Sullivan. He was sworn in on January 5, 2011.

Public life

Mark is the State Representative of Massachusetts from the 5th Norfolk District. He graduated from Braintree High School in 2003 and Umass Amherst in 2007. He was an intern for Congressman Stephen Lynch. He became the Assistant to the Braintree Mayor in 2007 but when elected State Representative he was succeed by Christopher P. Griffin in 2011.

In May 2011, Cusack was placed under investigation by the office of House Speaker Robert DeLeo after allegedly engaging in inappropriate actions with a female staff member of another lawmaker.[1]
