Marjorie Monaghan is an American actress born in California and raised in Ohio. She is best known for her portrayal in 1997 and 1998 of 'Number One', leader of the Mars Resistance, in the television series Babylon 5.[1][2]

Other science fiction roles were as 'JoJo Thorson' in the 1993 series Space Rangers, where reviewers remarked on her portrayal of JoJo as a "low-voiced feminist blond bombshell" [3] and as Kathleen Ryan in the 1999 series Rescue 77 where a reviewer said her "tough, thoughtul performance" was the only saving grace of a "generic action series."[4] She appeared in an episode of Star Trek: Voyager. She is blonde and has blue eyes. She also performs in theater and plays the guitar.

Monaghan was considered for the role of T'Pol in Star Trek: Enterprise.[5]
