Marius Marian Croitoru (born 2 October 1980 in Giurgiu) is a Romanian football player, currently under contract with FC Botoșani. He possesses a powerful shot and has good technique. He can also take free kicks very well. At the end of 2007, the midfielder was axed from the first team and has been linked with: Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona F.C., Gloria Buzău, Ceahlăul Piatra Neamţ and Politehnica Iaşi. In the end, he was loaned to Ceahlăul Piatra Neamţ[1]

Club career

Prior to 2007, when Croitoru joined Steaua Bucureşti, he played for Turistul București, FCM Bacău and FC Vaslui.

In the first part of Liga I 2006–2007 season, he and Viorel Frunză were the key-players for FC Vaslui.
