Mario Thaler
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mario Thaler is a music producer from southern Germany. He has been a producer since 1995 and was instrumental in creating the 'sound' of Weilheim, a small town south of Munich that is the birthplace of and home to many bands. He has produced many bands from the Weilheim scene that have now become internationally known, such as The Notwist, Lali Puna, Ms. John Soda, Console and many others. He works mainly out of his own studio, Uphon.[1] Although still a part of the Weilheim scene, he is now producing and mixing many international acts and artists. He produces bands of all musical styles but is best known for his work in the indietronic and electropop genres.
