Marino Defendi (born 19 August 1985 in Bergamo) is an Italian football (soccer) striker. He used to play anywhere in forward. He currently plays for A.S. Bari, whose coach, Vincenzo Torrente, uses him on the left side in either midfield and defense rather than in attack, for his lack of effectiveness in front of goal matched from ability of understanding movements of opponents and running all over the left side.
He also played in 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship and 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.
