Marie Takvam

Marie Takvam (December 6, 1926 January 28, 2008) was a Norwegian lyricist, novel writer, writer of children's books, playwright and actor. She made her literary debut as lyricist with Dåp under sju stjerner (1952).[1] Falle og reise seg att came in 1980. She was awarded the Swedish Academy’s Dobloug Award (Doblougska priset) in 1983.[2]

Criticism

In 1977 Marie Takvam played the main character in Vibeke Løkkeberg's film Åpenbaringen. One of the film scenes shows Takvam's bare bottom. The critics were shocked, and described her body as repulsive and old.[3]
