Marie-Ann Umali

Marie-Ann Bonquin Umali was born in Batangas City, in the Philippines. She is half Lebanese and Filipino.[1] She is a tourism graduate from De La Salle-College of St. Benilde. She aspires to become a flight attendant and to open and run her own restaurant.

Marie-Ann Umali won the Binibining Pilipinas 2009 World title on March 8, 2009. During the pageant, Umali also won the Best in Long Gown and Miss Photogenic awards. The other winners were Binibining Pilipinas 2009- International -Melody Gersbach and Binibining Pilipinas 2009-Universe - Pamela Bianca Manalo.

Marie-Ann Umali represented the Philippines in the Miss World 2009 beauty pageant but was unplaced.

She previously competed in the Binibining Pilipinas 2006 pageant where she was a semifinalist.

On March 6, 2010, Umali crowned her successor, Czarina Gatbonton who became the last Binibining Pilipinas-World crowned.
