Mariannhill is a little suburb near Pinetown in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
Roman Catholic mission station 16 km west of Durban. Founded in 1882 as a Trappist monastery, it developed until in 1952 a health committee was established. The name is derived from those of the Virgin Mary and Saint Anne.[2]
