Mari Motohashi (本橋 麻里 Motohashi Mari) is a Japanese curler. She was born June 10, 1986 in Kitami, Hokkaido.

Career

Motohashi was a member of Team Aomori, which was selected to represent Japan at the 2006 Winter Olympics (finished 7th) and the 2010 Winter Olympics (8th). She threw second stones under skip Ayumi Onodera at the 2006 Olympic Games, and under skip Moe Meguro at the 2010 Olympic Games. She also represented her country at the World Women's Curling Championship of 2004 (finished 7th), 2005 (9th), 2007 (9th), 2008 (4th) and 2010 (11th).

She is currently the skip of LocoSolare, the team she formed with members from her hometown Tokoro.

She graduated from Nippon Sport Science University.

Her nickname is 'Marilyn' named after her first name.
