Marfell is a suburb of New Plymouth, in the western North Island of New Zealand. It is located to the southwest of the city centre. The Mangaotuku Stream runs past Marfell.[1]
The population was 2,046 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 51 from 2001.[2]
Education
Marfell Community School is a coeducational contributing primary (years 1-6) school with a decile rating of 1 and a roll of 140.[3] The school was founded in 1961.[4]
