Mardaani is an upcoming Bollywood film. It will be directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films.[1] The film features Rani Mukerji in lead role.[2] Rani will play role of a rough police officer in the film.[3] As she is playing the role of a crime branch officer in the film, she met Mumbai Police Crime Branch chief as part of research for her role.[4]
The film will be released on 18 July 2014.[5]
