Marcus Peter Stoinis (born 16 August 1989) is an Australian cricketer, currently contracted to Victoria and the Melbourne Stars domestically, and having previously also played for the Perth Scorchers and Western Australia.

Born in Perth, Stoinis represented Western Australia at both under-17 and under-19 level,[1] and went on to appear for the Australian under-19 cricket team at the 2008 ICC Under-19 World Cup.[2] Playing as a top-order batsman, he also played several matches for Australia at the 2009 Hong Kong Sixes tournament.[3]

After playing several matches for Western Australia's under-23 side in the Futures League, Stoinis made his List A debut for Western Australia in the 2008–09 Ford Ranger Cup, against Queensland at The Gabba, and his Sheffield Shield debut two days later against the same team.[4][5] He played one more Sheffield Shield game and two more Ford Ranger Cup matches during the 2008–09 season, and one in each competition during the 2009–10 season, but was not regularly selected.[6][7]

Stoinis spent part of the 2012 English season playing for the Peterborough Town Cricket Club in the Northampton Premier League,[8] and in one match took a hat-trick.[9] At the same time, he played several matches for the second XI of the Kent County Cricket Club.[10][11] In December 2012, Stoinis was selected in the Perth Scorchers' squad for the 2012–13 Big Bash League season, replacing the injured Mitchell Marsh.[12]

In WACA district cricket, he plays for the Scarborough Cricket Club,[13] having also appeared in Victorian Premier Cricket matches for the Northcote Cricket Club.[14]
