Marcus Rohdén (born 11 May 1991) is a Swedish footballer who plays for IF Elfsborg in Allsvenskan as a midfielder, both central and as a winger.[1]

Career

Rohdén started his career in Hössna IF and moved to IF Elfsborg as a 16 year old signing a youth contract. In December 2011 Marcus signed a senior contract with IF Elfsborg on a five-year deal after returning from a loan at Skövde AIK. He scored his first goal in Allsvenskan against BK Häcken on 26 August 2012, in his debut season in both Elfsborg and Allsvenskan.[2]

International career

Rohdén has played in various national team divisions. His senior debut for a national team was with Sweden U21 on 10 September 2012 in the final crucial game against Ukraine U21 played in Kalmar. He substituted with his teammate in IF Elfsborg, Niklas Hult. Sweden won the game with 2–1 and qualified for the play-offs.[3]
