Marcus Landon Easley (born November 2, 1987) is an American football wide receiver and special teamer for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Bills. He played college football at Connecticut and graduated from Frank Scott Bunnell High School, Stratford Connecticut in 2005.
College career
Despite spending his first three years as a walk-on, he emerged during his senior year to become the Huskies' best receiver. In his senior year, he produced impressive numbers when he finally received tangible playing time; in the final 10 games of the season he made 48 receptions for 893 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Professional career
NFL Draft
Easley was drafted in the fourth round, 107th Overall by the Buffalo Bills in the 2010 NFL Draft. He is the first-ever Connecticut Husky wide receiver to be drafted in the National Football League.
Buffalo Bills
He was put on injured reserve on September 13, 2011, after it was announced that he had a heart ailment, which is possibly serious.[1]
On August 31, 2012, Easley was cut by the Bills, only to be signed to their practice squad the following day.
On September 1, 2013 Easley earned a spot on the Bills final roster.[2]
