Marco's Pizza, operated by Marco's Franchising, LLC, is a restaurant chain and interstate franchise based in Toledo, Ohio that specializes in Italian-American cuisine. The first store is in Oregon, Ohio at Starr Avenue and Wheeling Street. It was founded by Italian immigrant Pasquale "Pat" Giammarco in 1978. More than 425 franchised Marco's Pizza locations are in operation in 32 U.S. states and the Bahamas.[1]

Marco's Pizza is currently listed among Marketing Quarterly's Top 25 Pizza Chains. The Italian artisan pizza company has made great strides in 2013, up nine spots in the Top 100,to #12 overall, according to Pizza Today Magazine, increasing total units to 387 (274 in 2012) and $280 million in gross annual sales, a significant jump from its 2012 sales of $143,923,217. [2]The business operates locations in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin, as well as the Bahamas. In 2013 the company added more than 100 new stores with plans to double that in 2014. Marco's Pizza will open its 500 store in the spring of 2014, including the first store in Puerto Rico, and has over 1500 locations signed. Store locations are available with online ordering and payment. Family Video has partnered with Marco's Pizza and started opening new pizzerias in with it's stores in January 2014.[3]
