Marcinowice [mart͡ɕinɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Groß Merzdorf) is a village in Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Marcinowice. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) east of Świdnica and 44 km (27 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
