Marcel Schrötter (born 2 January 1993) is a German motorcycle racer, currently riding for the Desguaces La Torre SAG Team in the Moto2 World Championship.
Born in Pflugdorf, Schrötter started out in the German 125cc National Championship in 2007 and finished fifth in his debut campaign, before he took back-to-back titles in 2008 and 2009. In the 2008 season the youngster made his World Championship debut as a wildcard rider at Sachsenring, before three further rides in 2009 with a highly impressive fifth place in the final round of the season at Valencia. His full debut in 2010 with the Interwetten Honda 125 Team provided a steep learning curve and in 2011 Schrötter will aim for further progress with Mahindra.
