María Sofía Velásquez Jaimes-Freyre, born Ciudad de Panamá Panamá in 1971, is a Panamanian beauty pageant contestant winner of the Señorita Panamá 1993 title.[1] Also represented Panama in Miss Universe 1994, the 43rd Miss Universe pageant was held at the Philippine International Convention Center, in Manila, Philippines on May 20, 1994.[2]
Velásquez who is 5 ft 8 in (1.73 m) tall, competed in the national beauty pageant Señorita Panamá 1993, on September, 1993 and obtained the title of Señorita Panamá Universo. She represented Distrito Central state.
