Manya is a South Indian actress and movie star.[2] She started her film career in the Telugu movie industry and quickly captivated a large following. Her popularity then expanded into Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil movies. Manya is a unique actress because she has acted, and won prestigious film awards, in 4 major languages within the Indian Film Industry. In 2000, she was introduced to Malayalam films by famous director Lohithadas where she acted in the smash hit Joker opposite Dileep. The success of the movie, led to a series of more Malayalam movies and credibility of doing films outside of her mother language Telugu.

Personal life

Manya is married to Satya Patel on 31 October 2008.[3].She graduated from Columbia University.
