Manwath is a city and a municipal council in Parbhani district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Manwath had a population of 42333. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Manwath has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 73%, and female literacy is 53%. Most popular language spoken in Manwath is Marathi, however Hindi, Marwadi is also spoken by some people. In Manwath, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.

There are two forms of government transport in Manwath. 1. Railway. 2. State Transport Buses There is a railway station named MANWATH ROAD, which is 7 km from the city. The national highway 222 also runs from the city. It is about 37 km. from Parbhani There is also a bus stand in the city.
